Busy First 2 weeks
















Besides eating, sleeping, and pooping, Tristan had a busy first two weeks with visitors, baths, and photo sessions. He even perfected the Zoolander "Blue Steel" expression.

Heading Home
















On Thursday, May 6th we headed home. By then we all had our duties spelled out: Dad was Diaper-changer and Super Swaddler; Mom was the provider of meals and kisses; Tristan was the Object of our Affection. Just to note: duties haven't changed.

First Days of Life are Exciting




















Between pins and pricks, snips and baths, the three of us got to spend the first few days just bonding in the hospital. Ryan and I could not get enough of our little "T" and the lack of sleep meant nothing to us because we couldn't stop staring at him anyway! Well...all of us still needed a little sleep!

He's Here!!!
















Finally! In the wee hours of May 4th (1:20 am to be exact) Tristan Lebeaux Hebert entered this world weighing in at 7 pounds - 7 ounces and 20 inches long...bigger than





I expected him to be! He was beautiful from the start and I was amazed to discover you CAN fall in love at first sight!

Just Before...




A few days before Tristan was born, I was pretty sure he would never get here! I was walking a lot and hyper-sensitive to every ache and pain hoping it would be the start of his arrival...but nothing. Granted, I loved being pregnant but I was so eager to meet the Little Man and dying to be his mommy.
